I was thrilled to be hired to photograph Yogi Ferrell's basketball camp this past weekend. Everybody involved had a great experience learning basketball tips, drills, best-practices and techniques. Yogi was an unbelievably generous host -- giving every camper personal attention and feedback.

Still smiling at all the laughter, sounds of bouncing basketballs and from seeing the faces of all the joyful kids and their families....

Such a filled-to-the-brim weekend with meetings, portrait shoots, guests, dinners and learning some new equipment....  Nice to have a rainy Monday morning to sit in my studio and begin the process of editing weekend pictures....

Combining work and vacation on a long weekend to Memphis and Nashville....  Some really nice images of clients and street photography in both towns.  

Three months and pretty as can be....  Little Teagan holding on to her mom's hands...

When you're walking your dog on a golf course, and the sprinkler system kicks on and you both get wet, and you see something moving in the bunker, and it, too, gets startled and wet in the sprinkler system....  

Photography is fun.

Farmer's Market, Arts Fair on the Square and Taste of Bloomington....  All in one day!  What an unbelievably wonderful weekend to launch summer in B Town!  

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my studio Saturday!  We scheduled 10 portrait sessions and I can't wait to photograph each person/couple/family.

Portrait sessions are fun, intimate and often emotional. Everyone involved forms a bond during the shoot, and the resulting images reflect the tone of the day. I loved my time with James and his little LilyAnne this week. They have a special bond, and you can clearly see/feel their love for one another.
