Walking back up the B-Line Trail, post Cardinal Spirits, and returning to my studio on Saturday night....  There's unlimited beauty and interest in this ol' world of ours.  

Having a sandwich board on our iconic Courthouse Square in Bloomington is an unparalleled opportunity to talk with our beloved town each day.  Song lyrics, quotes about photography, offers I'm extending for the day or general thoughts about life in our amazing South-Central Indiana.....  It's an ever-changing, lively and direct means to help show my support for the Bloomington region each day.  I'll add that any update featuring "IU Wins!!" has been awfully nice throughout March....

This past week has been non-stop, but in the very best way.....  I've shot engagement portraits, corporate headshots, senior pictures, industrial/factory work, pet portraits and advertising photography.  It's been amazingly fun.  I hear every day that "It must be an incredible way to earn a living," and, each time I hear that, I smile ear-to-ear as I say that, yes, it sure is.

So much fun today shooting the pre-game Senior Day activities before the IU/Maryland regular-season-ending contest.  There was remarkable energy, which translated to inside Assembly Hall for the game and tremendous win (and Big 10 championship).  If I shot a photo of you today and you'd like a copy, just call or email me.  I also put 24 on my Facebook page -- Jeff Norris Photography -- so you may see one of you there, as well.  I may put a few on Instagram, as well (Jeff Norris Photography).

What an incredible roller-coaster season for these young men....  I'm so proud to be a Hoosier and am blessed to photograph folks who love IU and Bloomington as much as I do.

I love seeing an image that makes me thrilled to be alive.  

Thrilled to spend the weekend shooting the Ivy League Indoor Track & Field Championships, this year at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.  Amazing energy throughout the event, with the terrific athletes, their longstanding school rivalries and the raucous crowd support.  I'm constantly reminded that I have the best job imaginable, and, if I were ever to forget that, I'm also constantly reminded in conversations with excited parents and sports fans!  It's so enriching to provide beautiful images to folks with a vested interest in a person, place or event.

Walking to my car after work, carrying a camera over my shoulder, this guy stopped me and asked that I take his picture.  I raised the camera to my eye and he immediately flexed.  I'm not sure, based on his speech and behavior, that he'll remember our moment together, but he gave me an early-evening smile for my drive home.....

Such a remarkable 73-degree day in our incredible town....  I'm certain I didn't see a single person today who wasn't smiling and walking with a spring (season and bounce...) in his/her step.

We had such a successful Valentine's Day weekend!  Thank you to everyone we worked with this past week.  I deeply appreciate you choosing me for your photography shoots, and that you're referring me to your friends and co-workers.
