“How long does it take to get my images back?”

It depends. For weddings, I always request three weeks. For most portrait, commercial and related work, I always request two weeks. For professional headshots I’m happy to have proofs back to you within three days. I always tell clients that I’m as excited to see the images as they are! I’ll always get them to you as quickly as possible.

I’m really, REALLY uncomfortable having my picture taken! Help!”

This is a normal, probably even expected anxiety for most folks! But honestly, once we’ve met and certainly once we’ve taken the first minute of photos the nerves go away! As crazy as it sounds, the sessions are actually completely fun!

Will you meet me/us at our favorite park/town/trail?”

Absolutely! I always love doing on-location work, and the shoots have taken me to awesome locations all over Indiana!

How far in advance should I book you?”

It depends… I’ve got weddings scheduled two years in advance, and lots of work booked a year out, but usually with a tiny bit of comparing schedules we can come up with some great options in a flexible timeframe!

Can I, as a high school or college graduate, have my session split into two parts, so I can ultimately get cap and gown shots, too?”

Yes! In fact, most senior pictures are shot over separate days, often months apart!

Do you do work for businesses, or solely for individuals and families?”

I do lots of work for businesses throughout South-Central Indiana! My work has been published by The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Herald-Times, Bloom Magazine, Indiana University Press, Visit Bloomington and many others. As well, I’ve done work for Cook Medical, Indiana University, Buskirk-Chumley Theater, Ivy Tech, Oliver Winery and dozens of local/regional companies and not-for-profit organizations.

Do you still do your awesome Lake Monroe bald eagle kayak photography trips?!”

You bet! I absolutely love these trips, paddling around the gorgeous lake to see many of the nests and iconic bald eagles! Contact me to talk about a half or full-day trip!

We’d prefer a weekend for our shoot. Do you work weekends?”

Absolutely! In fact, I can’t remember the last non-vacation weekend that I didn’t work! I fully understand that Saturdays and Sundays are most convenient for a lot of folks.

Can you help us with prints, albums, books and wall art?”

I sure can! I work with the nation’s top photography lab (MIller’s Lab, out of Kansas City) and their work is extraordinary! I’ve helped clients with everything from wallet photos (aren’t those a timeless classic!?!?) to magnificent, huge prints on acrylic, canvas, metal and even wood! I give all clients a print price list in my introductory packet, so you’ll have full access to options and prices.
